Free Energy
Nikola Tesla envisioned a world without wires where energy would flow through the air and could charge everything wirelessly nearly 100 years ago. Nikola Tesla convinced J.P morgan to give him $150,000 dollars to build a "radio station." Tesla used that money to build giant wireless transmitter that is know as the Wardenclyffe Tower. The tower was 187 feet tall but also went 120 feet down into the ground as well. He also wanted to eventually build receiving towers that looked very similar to the Wardenclyffe tower at certain focal point to be able to give wireless power to the entire planet (Burns). In 1903-1904 Tesla was near completion but ran out of money. He was forced to go back to J.P. Morgan for more funding. Desperate Tesla had to tell him the real purpose of the the tower. When Tesla explained that the tower was supposed to give everyone access to free unlimited wireless energy and there wasn't a way to charge people for the use of the energy, J.P Morgan refused to invest any more money. Tesla tried finding more investors but with J.P. Morgan encouraging everyone to avoid funding the project Tesla was not able to find anyone willing to to invest. Sadly, his dream of a world without wires died with the demolishment of the tower in 1917 (Dinsdale).
Philadelphia Experiment
Reports say that in the few years before Tesla’s death he was working with Einstein and the U.S Navy at the Philadelphia Naval yard. In the project called the Philadelphia Experiment they were working on an electromagnetically charged invisibility cloak for the USS Eldridge battleship. They tried doing this by mounting Tesla coils on the ship to create plasma around the ship which would help hide it from radar (Burns). This is where things got weird. When they activated the Tesla coil not only did the ship disappear from radar but it also physically disappeared. When the shipped reappeared some of the crewmen on board were melded into the metal walls of the ship. This happened because when the shipped disappeared the crewmen on board got disoriented and started walking through the walls of the ship. Once the ship “materialized back in our plane of our reality” the men became fused with the ship walls (Burns). Despite classified information being leaked and or declassified supporting the credibility of this bizarre event most scientist believe this to be a hoax. Whether or not the details of the event are true or made up what we do know for sure is that the Philadelphia Experiment did happen (Burns). Therefore, we are left to speculate did Tesla really discover a way to manipulate time and space?
H.A.A.R.P
H.A.A.R.P stands for High-frequency Active Auroral Research Project. The H.A.A.R.P station is located in Gakona, Alaska and is 35 acres long with 160 antennas linked up to one another.The original patent # 4686605 for H.A.A.R.P states it is a “Method and apparatus for altering a region in the earth’s atmosphere, ionosphere and/or magnetosphere.” This allows the US to use the H.A.A.R.P installation as a manipulation weather device by “ unprecedented amounts of power in the earth’s atmosphere at strategic locations.” The patent itself states that it can manipulate “ precipitation enhancements, space weather, fog and cloud generation.” (Burns). For years claims went unjustified about the exact use of H.A.A.R.P until William Cohen, Former US Defense Secretary stated in an address to the US citizen, “ Others are engaging in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves… It’s real and that’s the reason why we have to intensify our efforts.” This is still only speculation on what the true purpose of H.A.A.R.P is used for. Hopefully the government has good intentions in mind but it could also be what Nikola Tesla feared, that his research fallen into the wrong hands and is being used to fulfill alternative agendas. Perhaps time will tell and eventually put the speculations to rest.
Death Beam
In 1934 Tesla claimed the he had figured out how to direct a stream of plasma plus solid particles through the air at very long distances, Tesla was able to make what he called a Death Beam (Burns). He detailed that his beam had enough energy to take down a fleet of 10,000 enemy airplanes from a distance of 250 miles away. He reasoned though that if every country had this technology war would cease to exist because all plans and battleships could be taken down with the press of a button (Burns). He tried selling this technology to the U.S government but they decided to support Einstein and the “Manhattan Project.” The USSR did show some interest and sent Tesla a check for $25,000 but Tesla never followed through with the idea the manufacturing of the beam for the USSR (theweek.com).
